The Energy Star program also helps residential customers identify savings opportunities and offers rebates for the installation of qualified HVAC equipment.
The State of California and local agencies offers residents many different rebates and tax credits for installing heat pumps or air conditioners with Energy Star approved, high efficiency units, and for improving the insulation in their home.
Rebates offered to businesses for HVAC retrofits, heat pump retrofits, motor replacements, and miscellaneous energy-saving retrofits.

Southern California Edison
SCE offers rebates for Energy Star air conditioning, reprogrammable thermostats, attic insulation, and solar attic fans.

Heat pump system must be installed at single family residences within Southern California Edison territory.
