The inventions and technological advancements in our modern day has made our day-to-day lives much more efficient, convenient, and enjoyable.  However, whether it be your own car, or your home’s washing machine, some of these improvements have a catch. That’s why California’s low-NOx requirement exists for furnace appliances.

In October of 2019, City of Los Angeles put in place new regulations for gas burning furnace emissions. The new model furnaces release a lot lower contaminant into the atmosphere which end up causing global warming. These new furnaces are categorized as Ultra Low Nox models specifically manufactured for Los Angeles.  These new model furnaces are pricier than previous models which need to be addressed to the consumer.
